My last post was awhile ago, so I apologize for the belated post at this time. Anywho, last time I talked about one of my guests on the Second Shift, Zach Wagner and I thought that now I would take the time to talk about some of my other guests that I've had on thus far.
Julie Moffitt was in to discuss life as a "D.I.Y. Rock Star" and she performed a couple of songs live in the studio including a new one called "Oh Hell." You can hear her performance on the

K107.1 podcast on iTunes or by going
right here. Julie will be back in the South Valley at the beginning of December to perform at my alma-mater Ripon College on December 3rd at 11:30 a.m. and again in Fondy at Moraine Park Technical College on December 4th at 11:15 a.m. Don't pass up your chance to check her out before her popularity explodes! I feel this is the best time to see an artist; when they are in front of an intimate audience and everyone really connects. For more info on Julie check out her
MySpace page.
Wendy Duffy called in from her busy life in Nashville to give us the low-down on everything that's happening in the music capital of the world. She

's originally from the South Valley and oh yeah, she's got a record out too! Life on My Toes is a great album and I gave some copies away to a few lucky listeners. If you didn't manage to win one, I highly recommend picking up a copy. Wendy will be back in the South Valley sometime in early 2008 so be on the look out for her to make some headlines when she rolls back into town! I'll be sure to keep you updated on the Second Shift and also be sure to continue to visit her
MySpace Page so that you don't miss a beat! Also take a listen to my interview with Wendy on the K107.1
podcasts!
The guys from Kilroy were just in the studio last Thursday before they took off for a great time down in Florida and that's just after they got

done hanging out in New York for the CMJ Festival! Whew, they are definitely keeping busy, and with good reason. These guys are not only incredibly talented, they are also down-to-earth and really nice guys. Make sure you visit their website because they have a new song up there that was specifically recorded for Ford called "Pump My Gasoline." Kilroy is from the South Valley, but they have a global sound and if you haven't gotten any of their music yet, what are you waiting for?! Once again, the K107.1 podcasts has an interview and in-studio performance awaiting your download on iTunes or
right here!
Happy clicking on what could be some of your favorite new music of the year!
