The Dark Knight has arrived! Okay, maybe not yet. But I do have my ticket for the midnight showing in Oshkosh and I'm pumped! I don't think I've ever been as excited for any other movie as I am for The Dark Knight. Not even Star Wars I, II, and III, the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Indiana Jones 4, the Matrix trilogy; none of them match up to my excitement here. You'll probably notice it on the air tonight during The Second Shift. I'm giddy like a school girl.
It's all about the casting for me. I was VERY skeptical when I heard that Heath Ledger (RIP) was cast as the Joker. I immediately thought, "Well, Batman Begins was good. I guess it ends there..." But then Heath decided

to slam me down in the mud like a stupid drunkard at Country USA. The first photo I saw of Mr. Ledger as the joker (seen at right) set aside all of my fears and made me intensely anxious to see some footage of the film. When I finally saw the first trailer, I couldn't believe my eyes. I wanted more. And everytime I catch a new trailer for The Dark Knight, I keep wanting more! I don't think that once in the theatre is going to be enough for me. I'll probably end up breaking my in-theatre record of four times (for Monsters Inc.) with The Dark Knight. Why? Because I'll keep wanting more!
Enough gushing about my favorite comic book hero. Here's some Web Waster action for ya.
