Well, it had to happen sooner or later. Joey T (that's me by the way :) will be taking some vacation days! I know what you're thinking, "Joey T? Really? I thought he never took vacation..." Well, you are officially wrong as of Thursday. I'll be gone frolicking through our beautiful state capitol through Tuesday of next week. That means after tomorrow, I won't be on the Second Shift for FOUR DAYS! Wow. I can say that I am excited to have six days to not have to worry about work, but I strongly believe that after a few days, I'll be itching a little bit to get behind the mic. We'll see I guess.

So my plan is to go out with a bang. We'll be giving away a free bike from The Bike and Ski Outlet tomorrow on The Second Shift, so make sure you get registered! All you have to do is email me at joeyt@k107.com by 10pm tonight and I'll drop your name in the hat. You can also get registered by winning the McSong of the Day either today or tomorrow. I'm really excited to give this away since it's the largest item I've even had for a contest before. I hope that you're as stoked as I am! Make sure you are listening around 6:20pm tomorrow when I announce the big winner.

GradeGenie - This site is a great study resource for your kids when they head back to school in two weeks (yikes)! It is a site that promotes study guides and tutoring rather than out-and-out cheating. If your child is proficient in one subject, they can submit notes, study guides, and tips for other students. If they are struggling in another subject, they can research those items for themselves. It's all free, and it's all helpful!
