J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS!

Anyone chanting that right now? Probably not, but hey, at least this whole "Brett Favre Saga" is over and done with, right? RIGHT? Well, no probably not. You know that the sports writers and shows are going to cover this throughout the entire season. Comparing and contrasting Favre's performance with that of Aaron Rodgers. Which, by all means, is not even close to fair to Rodgers. He's following a Green Bay legend. Regardless of how well he does, there's going to be people who say, "Well, Brett always did this..." or "He's alright, but he's not Brett Favre..." Which is complete garbage. No, he's not Brett Favre. Not at all, and I'm actually happy about that. Yes, I really enjoyed all of the time that Brett spent in Green Bay. Yes I think he is a phenominal quarterback. And yes, even a little bit of me considers it a loss that he's not back for another season at Lambeau. But after this many years, I think it's time for some fresh blood. Let's see where Aaron takes us. Give him a chance, and I'm betting that he'll surprise you. Plus, don't forget that Ryan Grant is with us for four years!

2008 Olympics - This is yesterday's and is in perfect time for the Olympics to get started on Friday. Should be a lot of fun to see how well the good ol' US of A does this year. Anybody else jazzed about the soccer and basketball events? Maybe a little Judo too!
