Joaquin Phoenix Done Acting?!

Say it ain't so Joaquin!

Many different gossip sites and magazines have reported that Joaguin Phoenix has stated he is done acting and will be moving towards a career in music.

I remember the first time I saw Joaquin Phoenix on screen in Gladiator. The movie is absolutely fantastic and well deserving, in my opinion, of all of the Oscars that it won. Mostly because of Joaquin's performace. He was absolutely chilling. After Gladiator I sought out some of his other films; 8mm, Quills and others. Not to mention Walk the Line, Signs and Ladder 49 (the latter two of which I wasn't particularly fond of...)

He will be sorely missed in my movie watching future, but here's to hoping that his music career is worth it. I somehow doubt it... considering the garbage that actors have put out when they want to sing. I can only dream that he might take it in a similar direction to Jeff Daniels.
