Getting the Itch Already?

Well, it's apparent that Brett Favre has announced his second retirement and will not be returning to the New York Jets for a second season. I can't say that I'm surprised. I would have figured at the absolute most he would have done one more season, but I think that now he feels like enough is enough. Granted, I have never spoken with #4, but I can get a great idea of character on ESPN reports ;)

But now the question that remains is: Will Brett Favre un-retire once again? I don't think that he will. At least, I hope that he won't. There are jokes around the studio about making a Brett Favre Un-Retirement Pool to see who can guess the closest day that he'll want to come out of retirement. I get the feeling that this time it's for real, though I thought that last year too. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. I think the more relevant question though is when will the Green Bay Packers retire the #4 jersey?
