I love Google

I have finally started using Google's products to their full potential, and I must say, they are incredible. GMail, for one, has been an absolute blessing. Never having to delete an email has prevented me from ever losing an important note. For example, I'm accepting entries for the K107.1 Spring Break Getaway and I have them routed through my K107 email into a super-secret email account that lets me keep them all. This way when I get people who have already registered and they then try again, I can find their original email super fast and prevent any double entries. On top of the massive storage, their tag system is genious. Sooo much better than folders once you get used to it.

On top of GMail, I'm also using their calendar and documents services quite often. I'm always switching computers from my desk, to the studio, to home. Having all of my files stored online is incredible so that I'm never without my latest spreadsheet or document. The calendar is pretty nifty too and has helped to clean up my desk calendar quite a bit. I know it sounds like I'm giving some sort of advertisement for Google, but I swear I haven't been paid... though I'd be open to it. You listening Google?!

Here's today's Web Waster:

Goop - This is a great lifestyle site put together by Gwenyth Paltrow, believe it or not. It has a very simple and clean look to help you easily navigate between shopping, cooking, travel and more. Check it out often because Gwenyth updates it pretty regularily.

Yesterday's Web Waster:

Woot - I'm completely hooked on this site. Every night at midnight they update a brand new deal that's only good for 24 hours. Sometimes they're really cool, other times not so cool. It's definitely a toss up, but a lot of fun to see what they come up with.
