Well, today will be the day that we'll come back to again and again as the day that John Madden called it quits. I suppose some will look back on the big guy's career and fondly remember his announcing and coaching, while others will be glad to finally get him off the airwaves. I think that I fall in the middle. I sometimes was annoyed by Mr. Madden, but after awhile I found his quirks more endearing than annoying.
