The Marshmallow Test

Apparently, researchers say that you can predict whether or not a 4-year-old child will graduate college or not, simply by offering them a marshmallow. You set the marshmallow in front of them and let them know that they can either eat it right away, or they can not eat it and wait for you to return. If they do, they'll earn a second marshmallow. I'm not sure that I could wait even if I was 400 years old!
