Web Waster Round Up

It's Friday! I am stoked for another weekend of relaxing and watching the Super Bowl. While I am disappointed that the best team of all time, the Green Bay Packers did not make it in, I am still excited to see how it all plays out on Sunday. Should be a good one and I, like many, am just hoping that it isn't a blow-out.

Here's the Web Wasters of the last week for you to deplete a little time with:

Monday9am.tv - This is another site to use to help give things to watch in light of the writers strike. The site has a bunch of 5 to 10 minute mini-movies that give insight into the lives of some really interesting people. Not only can you learn a lot about them, but you learn a lot about yourself and might even get motivated by some of their stories.

Gyminee.com - With Jon and Mary in the Morning getting you to shape up in 2008 with Fitness and Nutrition Expert Lynn Roethke from Club Olympia, I figured a companion site would be a great addition to the Web Waster series. You can get meal plans, a variety of excercises and motivation from your friends. And the best part is that it's free to register!

ListenToAMovie.com - This site is really a gem. I have a bunch of friends who listen to TV shows and movies on their iPods while working, but that's only good for movies that you drop the cash on. Why pay for a movie if you're only going to listen to it most of the time? That's where this site comes in... You can listen to their catalog of movies for free anytime you want. I'm not talking about some obsure B-List movies like Bikini Bloodbath either, try Transformers, Knocked Up, High Fidelity, This is Spinal Tap, and great TV shows like The Simpsons, Arrested Development and more.

Groundhog.org - A holiday that celebrates a groundhog who can predict the whether... Sounds rather ridiculous but it's a great American tradition! Get the scoop on all the Groundhog Day traditions before we find out whether or not Phil sees his shadow. And if you can't get to Punxsutawney to see it first hand, you can watch the live webstream tomorrow at 6am... If you can manage to get up that early on a Saturday that is.

SuperBowl.com - Just about the whole country will be tuning into the biggest football game of the year. That includes all of the people who know absolutely nothing about the game just to watch the commercials. If you're in that category, log onto the official site of the big game to educate yourself a little about the match-up so that you aren't bored between the commercials.

That'll do it for this week's Round Up. Have a great weekend and we'll get back together on Monday!
