What a great couple of days we had weather-wise. Just absolutely gorgeous. That makes today's gloom that much more depressing. It's cloudy and rainy and the only thing that would make it worse would be colder temps... which are on their way this weekend. Ah well, it was good while it lasted, right? The brighter side of falling temps for me would be my two of my favorite things: Hot cocoa and Christmas music.
Speaking of Christmas, don't forget to check out the Oshkosh Chamber Holiday Parade on Saturday. It's a great way to kick off the holiday spirit. It runs down North Main, to Sixth, to Oregon and it gets started at 10am. Hope to see you there!
Today's Web Waster:
StoryCorps - I wish that I had heard of this sooner. This is a very cool project of family and friends discussing stirring life stories. It's candid, tasteful and incredibly interesting. You'll plan to spend a couple minutes listening and end up hearing their entire tale. From the Great Depression to World War II to the development of the "jump shot," it's all there for your listening pleasure.
