The Dark Knight is Here!

Couldn't be a crummier day for it to be on DVD though. I had planned on going to pick up the Blu-Ray version of The Dark Knight this morning. So I set my alarm for earlier than usual and got ready to head out, get myself some breakfast and pick-up my favorite movie of the year. It was quite the hazardous trip as well. I saw it twice in the theatres, once at the midnight release and again a couple weeks later with some friends and it was better the second time. Now I look forward to checking it out in high definition glory for a third time and I'm thinking it's going to be even better yet, thus justifying my excursion.

So I pick up the disc, head home and begin watching the special features on disc two. I didn't want to watch the movie before coming into the studio because I'd be too rushed, so I watched a feature on Batman Tech and a few other little diddies and decided it was time to head to the studio. Now, I had already been out once this morning so I figured that everything would be just fine as far as dusting off my car and such. Not the case. So I took another 15 minutes to get the latest snow fall off and started to pull out of the driveway. At this point however, the plow had come by and plowed in the entrance to the driveway. You can guess what happened. Yes, I got my car stuck. Luckily my very awesome neighbor came out and gave me a hand on getting it out. There's nothing good about a stuck car and I look forward to taking the edge off with a little Batman and my mom's specialty home-made hot cocoa.
