It's always great to hear a positive news headline triumph over all of the depressing ones. Especially at a time when everyone is stressed out over the economy, the holidays and more.
The Salvation Army recently held their Thrivent Match Day across the Fox-Cities last Friday and despite it being tough for everyone financially, our community raised nearly $500,000 in just one day! That's incredible. So much so, that it set a new records for single-day collections. Thrivent Financial for Lutherans matched $125,000 to help get to that total and you can read the whole story here. So if you donated to help out those less fortunate, great work! If not, it's definitely not too late to get in on the action.
