To say that I'm excited about having temperatures back above freezing would be an understatement. I struggle to find the balance between staying warm and paying the heat bill at my apartment. I live in a fairly older building and it's like trying to heat a room with walls made of fishing nets. When the temps go above freezing though, then I can use my space heater more sparingly and still not have to worry about the pipes freezing. Even if the warmth doesn't last too long, at least it shows us that there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Dynastree - This is a very cool site that lets you put together your family tree free of charge. It is a really slick looking application too. Also, if you don't feel like signing up for anything, they have a map that allows you to find out how many people in the United States share your last name.
YourFonts - This is my favorite site of early 2009 so far. It lets you make your own font based on your hand writing. Just download the template, fill it in, scan it, upload it and then download your font. Couldn't be easier!
