I Hate Re-Runs

I'm getting rather frustrated at various television shows this season as they are showing multiple weeks of re-runs. Now, don't get me wrong. I am huge fan of syndicated shows. I'll often find myself watching Friends, Seinfeld or King of Queens on the CW or TBS. But when a show is in a current season with new episodes, I can't stand getting home, flipping on my Tivo and seeing that the latest Scrubs or The Office are re-runs.

Don't they have enough episodes to make it through a whole season? Is there a surprise week or two thrown in that they weren't expecting? They must have planned on 17 episodes, but got caught off-guard by that fourth Thursday in February. They never even saw it coming!

At least the most exciting primetime soap opera/sci-fi/action/thriller is always new. Good old Lost pulling through for me again this week.
