New Crew, More Fun!

The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, the minor league baseball team that plays in Appleton (do I really need to explain this?), recently signed on as a Milwaukee Brewers player development team for their low-Class A players. Pretty cool news for sure, but even cooler? Opening day sold out for the T-Rats! How awesome is that?

In an article from The Post Crescent, "Rattlers assistant general manager Aaron Hahn said...'My previous three years here, (5,500) is probably the number of those three Opening Days combined.'" According to the article, their previous record for an Opening Day was 3,474. That's more than 2,000 more people crammed inside Fox Cities Stadium!

With all of the depressing news out there these days, it's awesome to see that so many people are still getting out to the ballpark with friends and family and really embracing what we have all across the Fox Valley area. Get out there and show your T-Rats and Brew Crew pride! And don't forget to sign up for the K107.1 Brew Crew Blowout!

Here's today's Web Waster:

DorkYearbook - Everyone has at least one dorky picture of them while they were in school. I think I've got three or four full photo albums FULL of them. This site compiles some of the dorkiest of the dorky and displays them in all their dorkiness. Alright, enough with the dorky, but check out the site anyway; it's nice to know us dorks aren't alone!
