Ahhh Nostalgia

This may date me, but I remember going to Park Plaza mall in Oshkosh with my mom when she went to get her hair done. It was the best day when we went there. Not for the perm (though my mom may contest that), but for none-other than Aladdin's Castle. Aladdin's Castle had all the best arcade games at the time, like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Virtua Fighter, Maximum Carnage, After Burner, OutRun, The Simpsons, Off-Road and of course the classics like Ms. Pac Man and Galaga.

I would run back and forth from the Regis Hair Salon and Aladdin's Castle begging for just two more dollars to get enough tokens to get through one more level. Those were great times indeed. Then after Mom finished up with her perm, sometimes we'd go to Park Plaza Video to rent a Nintendo game for the weekend. I wish I knew how good I had it at the time. Like the Bunkers always sang, "Those were the days!"

I took this little trip down memory lane after stumbling across these awesome miniatures of some of my favorite Sega arcade games from back in the day. It's a shame they'll only be available in Japan.
