King of Kong Falls Short

I highly recommend the movie, "King of Kong," a documentary about two people fighting over the Donkey Kong world record score. It's on DVD now as well as the "Watch Instantly" option with Netflix. Steve Wiebe, an algebra teacher from Seattle, and gaming legend Billy Mitchell have been going back and forth for years topping each other's score. Wiebe was at the E3 conference this week attempting to break Billy Mitchell's current record of 1,050,200. Unfortunately for Wiebe, he came up a bit short at 989,400 with his latest attempt. I'm sure this isn't the last time we'll hear about the battle between the Kings of Kong. Here's the full story

Gamespot - In honor of E3 (The Electronic Entertainment Expo) wrapping up in LA today, I thought we would check out some of the news that came out this week. It's being called the "Everyman's E3" this year, with something for everyone. Whether it's games for the hardcore players or new motion detection technology to get even grandma playing games, there's a lot of news in the video game market being made this week.
