Great Look at North Korea

I recently stumbled across the site VBS.tv a couple of weeks ago and became hooked.  They're a division of Vice Magazine and they put together some fascinating human interest stories from around the world, and present them as documentaries.  There are some that are quite graphic, like the look at what's going on in Liberia, as well as a lot of light hearted videos on music and art.

The particular set of videos that really intrigued me was their venture into North Korea.  There's one section embedded above, but I highly recommend checking out the rest of the segments at their website.  Someday I'll use it as a Web Waster too.

SmittenKitchen - This site has some really neat recipes that focus mostly on comfort foods that are taken to the next level.  It's essentially a blog written by Deb, who cooks in a tiny kitchen in New York City.  There's a lot of delicious things to check out that can certainly build your appetite before dinner.
